- The goal of the PLUS (Planning and Learning United for Systems Change) Leadership Initiative is to promote and support collaborative, learner-centered policies and practices aimed at improving public education quality and creating more vibrant and healthy neighborhoods for all. - CC&S offers public forums and occasional brown bag discussions, around topics of central concern to local urban/metropolitan and educational leaders and community members.
- Co-sponsored by CC&S and the American Architectural Foundation (AAF) in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Center for Physical Activity, California Department of Health Services. The Forum convened about 50 policy and practice leaders in California school facilities.
