LEADERSHIP IN COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE

We prepare local public schools and districts to work collaboratively with local, regional, and state agencies to develop mutually beneficial policies and practices.

PLUS Leadership Initiative >>: The goal of the PLUS (Planning and Learning United for Systems Change) Leadership Initiative is to promote and support collaborative, learner-centered policies and practices aimed at improving public education quality and creating more vibrant and healthy neighborhoods for all. CC&S offers public forums and occasional brown bag discussions, around topics of central concern to local urban/metropolitan and educational leaders and community members.

June 11-12, 2007: Building Schools, Building Communities: The Role of State Policy in California; Co-sponsored by CC&S and the American Architectural Foundation (AAF) in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Center for Physical Activity, California Department of Health Services.
