- Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG)
- The Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) is one of more than 560 regional planning agencies across the nation working to help solve problems in areas such as land use, housing, environmental quality, and economic development.

- Cities, Counties, Schools Partnership of California
- CCS Partnership is a joint effort of the League of California Cities, the California State Association of Counties and the California School Boards Association and promotes the development of public policies that build and preserve communities by encouraging local collaborative efforts among California's cities, counties and school districts.

- 21st Century School Fund
- The 21st Century School Fund works on school facility issues nationally and locally in the District of Columbia, building the public will and capacity to improve urban public school facilities. The Fund provides technical assistance, training and tools to nonprofit organizations, school districts and local, state and federal public agencies to support their work on school facility issues.

- Community leaders, parents and schools across the U.S. are using Safe Routes to School programs to encourage and enable more children to safely walk and bike to school.

- The National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities (NCEF) is a free public service out of the U.S. Department of Education that provides information on planning, designing, funding, building, improving, and maintaining schools. - The National Trust has a webpage highlighting the loss of historic neighborhood schools that are being replaced by mega-school sprawl.

Building Educational Success Together (BEST)
BEST is a community of practice dedicated to sharing and developing knowledge to improve urban public school facilities and the communities they serve. The Center for Cities and Schools is a proud member and research partner with BEST.
