Deborah McKoy to Speak in Ottawa on Youth Engagement in City Planning

The following is the article written by Canada's National Capital Commission about the Youth Engagement in City Building Event. 

 

As we plan for the future of the Capital, we must not forget to include the voices of millennials and Generation Z. After all, they will be the ones implementing these plans!

At our next Capital Urbanism Lab, we’ll explore how various groups are engaging youth in city building to strengthen our communities. Our guest speakers will address how they empower youth to take action on local issues, such as housing, transportation and community development.
